I've installed Killing Floor mod and the patch. But when I try to run the game located in E:/Program files/UT2004/KFMod20...I keep getting this error after running the "RunKF" file.
UT2004 Build UT2004_Build_[2004-03-03_02.42]
OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: AuthenticAMD Unknown processor @ 2002 MHz with 2047MB RAM
Video: RADEON X800 Series (6635)
Failed to enter Entry: Can't find file for package 'AS_FX_TX'
History: UGameEngine::Init <- InitEngine
I have the latest UT2004 patch and the ECE bonus pack. And Im pretty much stumped on what to do....

Well.. I have this texture pack. it should have came with the game, and i'm saying this as i'm looking at the creation dates. I'm sure not if it is part of the ECE BP or the game, mine is teh editors choice so it came with ECE bundled. So just to make sure looks through the game cd if you can find it.
The install process should be UT2k4->patch->bonus packs->Mods.

Installed all what mod needs...
when I try to run the game ... it shows me:

This sounds like you didn't install the mod correctly, and merged it w/ regular UT rather than subfoldering it.

doyora, if you reread his first post, it says that he put it under its own folder.
That is weird indeed though. wish I could help, good luck with that problem dude.
The only thing I can offer is to uninstall and reinstall the mod; and double check you have everything.

Ah, well TBH I was responding to pshycho's post, since he hadn't said anything about it there. Usualy errors like this are solved by reinstalling UT2004/KF.

The install process should be UT2k4->patch->bonus packs->Mods. Hope that helps. Actually it´s UT2k4-->patch-->ECE bonus pack--> patch-->mods since the bonus pack screws something (don´t ask me what it is) up. If you didn´t do it that way round, patch your UT2k4 again. If that still doesn´t work deinstall Killing Floor and UT2k4. Then install everything again according to the order above. And if that still doesn´t work I´m out of wisdom. |

Apply the latest patch (3369).
Your logs should report UT2004_Build_[2005-11-23_16.22]
