please help i can`t run killing floor on my pc! i followed the readme and all the stuff and copied "KFMod20" as follows: C:\UT2004\KFMd20 then they say i should klick on C: \UT2004\KFMod20\runKF.bat i tried it the whole time but it still doesn´t work there comes a message like this: runtime error!

this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. please contact the applications support team for more information.then i tried to change the settings like i did it when i ran soulkeeperb (mod) right mouse click on play ut2004 on the desktop then properties, destination : C:\UT2004\system\UT2004.exe -mod=soulkeeperB then i tried it like this: C:\UT2004\system\UT2004.exe -mord=KFMod20 and then the same shit: runtime error!

1) resart your PC and see if it now works. if not,
2) Reinstall UT2004 and KF.

Check what´s running in your background. My overall guess is spyware, but I`m not sure. I think I had that error, too ... But I don´t remember what I did :s. Since windows doesn´t always display everything that´s running in your background, try this: www.koeltzsch.com/Software/DownloadRegistrierung.aspx?ProgrammID=1It´s Kill Process, a tool much like your taskmanager, but shows hidden processes, too. You "have" to register there ... by giving the "correct" informations ... which I actually did since it´s free and stuff. But it connects to the internet each time you start it. Since I don´t know what´s it collecting, just block it with a firewall. If you haven´t got one, go get one so you can´t blame me when stuff goes wrong, please  edit: Alright, scratch all that. It´s the ECE bonus pack and YES you need it The install order is Patch - ECE bonus pack - Patch again, btw. |

That´s a good question, actually ... I need to reinstall UT04 and KF, too, because of that virus sometime ago ... And I don´t know :s. My guess would be UT04, patch, ece, patch and then KF.

Theoretically, KF shouldn't overwrite ut2004-files. SO at which point you install Killing Floor should be redundant. If it does matter, that would be considered a bug and had to be fixed.

one more question . should i install ece bonuspack and then KFMod20? does it matter? or could i keep it installed (KFMod20) and then i will install ece bonus pack. Doesnt matter at all. Any order should work just fine  |

Reinstall.
The simple fact is this :
Killing Floor is a self contained Total conversion.
It Does_Not_In_Any_Way interfere with UT2004 specific files. In fact, the only way it interacts with them at all is to make use of certain select asset packages native to 2k4, and of course the UT codebase.
Sounds like youve mucked something up somewhere else.
Unfortunately, given the utterly generic error you're getting, its difficult to recommend anything other than a fresh install

Drag n Drop KF into your Root install dir.

Also, could be a bad download. Some times files are corrupted causing it to crash with no real warning. If nothing else works, could always try redownloading KillingFloor
