I was looking for a small mutator/mod for UT Classic and I came across KF and fell in love straight away. I then proceeded to sign my life away and got playing!!!!!

Search Engine. Google to be exact. I was looking for zombie mods for UT and BAM!! Killing Floor popped up. I was skeptic at first because I read some reviews on some site. But when I got around to download it, it was amazing. I think I downloaded 2.0 first then downloaded 1.0 right after.

Interesting question,. I have no idea. I just remember the old website, before I kicked in. Could have been, someone told me about it but I have forgotten. Edit: Hey! look at this!

A friend forced me to download it. I'm surprised he put up with me for the first week or so: we were playing on easy with the clot mutator and I'd die in every wave. Oddly, I only improved after we stopped playing on easy and jumped into a normal game with a few other people.

I joined when the blackcatgames people were planning another "invasion", and they picked your mod. I had already heard of KF 1.0, and I played it every now and then. I didn't download it for awhile, but eventully I did.

I saw the column in PC Gamer UK in September 2005 on KF1.0. Looked amazing, so I went to the website and downloaded it. I browsed the forums for about a year until 2.0 came out, then signed up to help with the bug fixes in 2.1 (I wasnt a BETA tester, I only posted loads of threads on the initial 2.0 bugs, like spectator bug etc).

The coincidence showed me KF. I was looking on UTzone.de for a mod and saw KF 2.0 as the second mod in the list. And because I was in a Resident-evil-fever, I downloaded KF.

Was looking for Zombie Mods, and found one Zombie Panic: Source, but it wasnt released, so a few more minutes of google search, Killing Floor propped up, and it was around 2.0 release too, played it for awhile and eventually (a long eventually ) i registered on the forums and played more regularly

I saw the original KF on one of the Filefront associated sites. Followed it for a good time, signed up for the forum around when 1.00 was released.

A friend initially gave me the link to the demo, I downloaded it and fell in love.
I forgot about it for awhile until I suddenly saw a full version(1.0) was released. I jumped on it, and then when none of my friends wanted to try it, I signed up on the forums looking for people to play with.

Q- How did you stumble on KF? A- Stumble across KF on www.moddb.com/ whilst going through the modifications for UT04, took a look as I liked zombie/gore blood mod and downloaded it, as the same as MadMax, I too sign my life away and got playing too! My first text chat words whilst playing for the first time was "where do I get myself a Shotgun from" and answer was trader of courses or at guns spawns!
