Hi all, I am currently piecing together an 45 sec tune for the ModDB Mod of the year video with hopes of getting it on. I would like your opinion on which sounds better: Majoror MinorThey are only 10 secs long each and I would appreciate your thoughts. NOTE: no comments on the crappy MIDI sound I am aware of it I just want to ensure the harmony is up to scratch!

Gran Turiismo hmmm... there was an old game where the car had rockets / caltrops / machine guns + between races shady characters bribed you to run other racers off the road. A modern game where you can lean out the window chaining the opposition + rockets etc yeah.
Both musical pieces excellent, not just my opinion. The consensus here by a slim vote is for minor.

I think it´s heavily situational. It depends on what you want it to go with in the video.
When listening to the minor-version I see myself entering some sort of cathedral or sanctuary. When everything else is war-torn and in deep chaos, this is the only place of peace that is left.
When listening to the major-counterpart I somehow still imagine a cathedral (what´s with me and churches today?), but just your average one, minus the war-torn surroundings. The melody still has this air of transcendency, but without the sadness.

I am unsure what is going to be in the video so I am writing this blind so to speak!
