kyben: Well, if I´m bad at it it can´t possibly my fault. ;D Nah, you´re right, if I drive those vehicles more often I´m less likely to be killed by a Manta from a 600meters distance - which sucks. I played UT2k4 thoroughly - multiplayer part at least. I just discovered the single player a week ago - it sucks, imo. Anyway, I´m not trying to say "It´s different from UT2k4 so it sucks", I´m just using UT2k4 as comparison since it´s ... well, it´s the UT before UT3. edit: Since Doyora posted his system specs, here are mine: 8800 GTS 2 GB RAM Athlon 64 X2 4400+ EE (i.e. 2,2 GHz too) will post the fps later, but it will probably be less than Doyora had.

8800 GTS 2GB RAM 2.2GHZ dual core intel E66something A Harddrive w/ sufficent space 56 fps avg on Heatray @ 1024x1280 maxed out settings.... Heatray is excellent. The game is lound, angry and over the top. This is unreal, and it is excellent. The new biorifle now gets the power it deserves as the worlds greatest weapon. The flak cannon is less good. I need to adapt to it. The new link gun is amazing, 'nuff said. Sniper is perectly balanced. Shock rifle seems fair for once. Visuals are top noch. Apparently the full version will scale it's high end settings even higher. Try the loaded cheat to get an infinite ammo redeemer. This (combined with god mode) on VCTF-Suspense is good enough fun in itself, but for best results combine with the beserk powerup and a map full of bots. 2 shots per sec? Very good i've got ingame death messages enabled again How? I'm doing a Games Art Design course at university.... so when I enter the industry, I will make this dream a reality for you

Ut3 gave the Biorifle the attention it deserved. <3 Probably because it sounds familiar to Bioshock.
Carrying my flak cannon around makes me feel as if it was rushed out to feed a Deep Space Miner in-combat's hunger. But it will do.
Warfare will eat my soul. And all pen drives around me.

It's crazy and hardcore compared to UT2003/2004, but it's still not as good as UT99 it seems. Might be just the demo maps though.
