Old ladies cycling no handed down the street weldng dual berretas AWESOME! There are lots of film homages in it to especially to Straw dogs which it was loosely based upon.

I found Hot Fuzz to be really stupid actually, and Shaun of the Dead wasn't bad.

I liked Shaun Of The Dead better than Hot Fuzz. But Hot Fuzz is by no means bad, just...more stupid than funny.

Yeah I was let down by Hot Fuzz, it just didnt do anything for me. I remember watching it in the cinema with my GF, 1/2 way thru we just looked at each other and said this is "Shit". Then when all the crap kicked off at the end, I was like WTF!
I love a good comedy, we both do, but hot fuzz was not comedy, it was just....just....bizzare! Shaun of the Dead was awesome though, not only was it a good homage to the Zombie genre, but was also a good comedy.

Yeah but thats the beauty of Hot Fuzz it was totally random it spend ages building up a complex story and it turned out it was just sillyness.
Plus there are some brilliant homages to films in Hot Fuzz that are just brilliant.
I may be one man standing by himself backing this film but by jove I love it and will fight for it till the last.
