What’s your favourite zombie/horror movie?

hey all, I suppose my favourite zombie movie would be a few, 28 days later, 28 weeks later, the dawn of the dead remake, Land of the Dead, and resident evil movies series. For the horror movies the Alien series and predator series, plus AVP movie.

So whats yours???

Mh, I just can´t decide ... but there are two movies that pop up in my mind when I think about zombie movies: "Undead" and "Return Of The Living Dead 2".

The first is so bad that it´s almost good again, whereas the second´s title alone might crash your mind. I mean, if it weren´t for continuity, the title would be pretty senseless. "Return of the Living Dead 2".

Both are B-movies, but that´s almost a requirement for good zombie movies.

The original Night of the Living Dead... and hey, it's free online because of the rights going public, so there's NO excuse not to see it.

Silent Hill with all game monsters (Armless Ones, Nurses, Grey Childs, ...) and new ones like "The Janitor"

I dunno...I wasn't really a fan of the old night o' the living dead. It was just way too much sitting around in a cabin talking about really boring stuff, and Barbara was worthless throughout the whole movie(you'd think she'd come into her own and do something near the end at least).

As for my favorite? Probably the european PS3 release(zing!). Seriously though, I liked the dawn of the dead remake. I'd like to see the old dawn of the dead, but I can't find a copy anywhere.

28 days/weeks later are my faves, however other notable titles such as DOTD remake, NOTLD original and remake are excellent, Land of the Dead was very good too.

I'm looking forward to G.A Romero's Diary of the Dead, and hopefully another addition to the 28 series (it has to be awesome though, not something made to be a cash cow).

Return of the Living Dead series is also worth mentioning, its a fun zombie pic which is ace as long as you dont take it too serious (we all know how us Zombie lovers hate crap Zed movies).

As much as there some absolute crackers out there such as...

...28 days/weeks, shaun, night of the living dead, day of the dead.....

...however sorry to be cliched but the original dawn of the dead takes centre stage for me, the things that romero was trying to say were beautiful
