well if u do the install all by urself from console to x server with kde/gnome and beryl it really makes u proud almost as if u were sitting in a house uve built behind a desk uve made on a selfmade chair )))

Heh, I install most things by .deb or .rpm if I can find them, or by the most awesome Synaptic Package Manager...or Add/Remove Programs, which is a simpler GUI for Synaptic Package Manager....
However I did install Beryl myself from the console, and my NVIDIA drivers.

hehe the driver install was completely awesome ive spent 2 hours looking for the right kernel headers package only to find it afterwards on the install cd but then the installer fucked up and so i spent another 2 hours googling up a solution, finally finding a patched installer so that my 60 year old neighour could finally play his game of neverputt  |

Totally a new background, theme, splash screen, icon theme and GDM Theme all combined into my lean mean RAM friendly desktop machine....yeh...whatever. *Time to kill the forum lookout with a big image*  |
