Another funny thing about that game was the damage calculation of explosions. A friend of mine once shot a tank with a Carl gustav... through two houses (the windows were open) and the results were one destroyed tank and two broken legs. I mean ... why ?

I loved the freedom in that game though. Making my own little camp, at night, with a fire, right at the edge of the forest. Then put millions of bad guys inside the forest, and use a plane to kill the bastards. Ahh, the good ol'days.

I made whole multiplayer missions for that game. Ambushing convoys, crashed behind enemy lines and having to get out, helicopter and jet fights, etc. But nothing beat that one multiplayer mission that came with the game, the one with the tractor in it. Another friend of mine (played it with two other guys most of the time) used to get into that tractor, laugh like a maniac and run the enemy soldiers over. The AI was so confused that they didn´t know where to shoot, but they got him eventually. Either by a lucky grenade or because they finally grasped the fact that they could shoot him through the windshield.
