Anyway, a mic is only like $5 for a crappy boom (which works fine).

Yes, Unreal does have VOIP built in, but KF 1.0 disabled it by default... BUT interesting thing... in UT when you hit the "talk" key, the sound in game is muted a bit to reduce feedback to other players. So all you do is run teamspeak, ventrillo or skype and map the talk key to the same key it is in UT. Same mute function with voice.

Also, in 2.0, anyone who has played the Beta... is the Bullpup a good stand-alone weapon? I mean in KF 1.0 it really didn't do all that much... but is it reasonable to use often now? And there are no new guns, right?

The bullpup is equivilent of the duelies in 1.0. But it fires MUCH faster. And the duelies are the equivilent of the bullpup in 1.0

The 'pup is a great primary weapon for earlier waves, but a little weak for things like fleshpounds and stuff.

Probably Team Speak. Just works. I'd like to do Skype, but I'm worried about folks with slower PCs getting lagged by it. Depending on what time it comes out on (on what, like Sunday?) I will try and get a server going... and post my IP in a new thread for easy access.

For the love of God turn ON 'push to talk'... the last thing we need is someone else's gunfire over the comm channel.

And don't worry about how you sound... I sound like a creepy child-molester... but that's a lie... I'm not creepy...

yeah. I probably gonna lag alot given the new shader effect implemented in 2.0. It's going render alot than ever before.

So... I just had to bear with it at the meantime. U guys too. Hope u will not be lag by me. Haha

The shaders and everything don't mess up your system preformance much at all.

If you can run Utk2k4 at max, you're good to go.

Meh i wont be on the teamspeak most likely, just check the chatbox thing in game every now and then for my commands.
