Original one really is booring, and unfunny, and stupid, i don't like it, it's like 3yo animating!
OFFTOPIC: can anyone give me a good rpg, that isn't the usual booring japan rpg, and could have realistic combat(not that imgonnabeatyouwithmybogostickfor3hoursuntilyoureded PVP system) and could contain guns!(mmorpg please, and i know guns online)

uhhh...Free or non-free? Because they have those Guild Wars, World of Warcraft, Neverwinter Nights and all that stuff to buy in the stores......Free...Uhh..The non-Korean ones, don't really exist for free....That's because Koreans love doing it for fun, the rest just want money. |

The only RPG that i know that has a working PVP system and includes guns is final fantasy online, but Japanese (Hey nothing against them, I'm Japanese myself) and not free either. You could ofcourse try WOW but that one does not have a great PVP system.. If you got morrowind you could wait for the new version of the Morrowind online plugin (but well the plugin Japanese so I don't think you will like it  ) and it allows only 32 people online at the same time, also I'm not sure o how long it will take till there will be servers up for it. |

Alex.....The KillingFloor forums is a thing for the insane.......You aren't alone...Don't worry.... As for the whole Japanese bit, nothing agenst them either, but we need some other countries to try the whole Massive Multiplayer Online Gamey thingy for free Uhh, the Fallout Tactic series I believe is semi RPG(with guns)....You could always play those....They have an amusing PvP system, I have fun setting mines and watching the enemy run into them. Works almost every time. |

I really second Fallout and Fallout Tactics... amazing, AMAZING games...
Morrowind and Oblivion are amazing if you want real time combat.
And for the love of god, Balder's Gate man! Seriously, ask off of work for 3 months, buy the original, the sequel, and the sequel's expansion. Most amazing game... really makes you feel like you've come a long, long way by the end. It's also able to support 6 players (though good luck playing the whole game with them).
Problem is the Japanese invented the great golden console RPG... I'm going crazy waiting for FFXII... apparently it's supposed to be the best one since VI.
You can also download and emulate the SNES Shadowrun game... it's decent, if really really inaccurate to the source material.

Yeah, Fallout 2 is a great one. Fallout Tactics... eh, doesn't have the same feel as Fallout 1 and 2. I'm wondering if Bethesda will do anything really cool with the Fallout license. I have a hard time seeing them do stuff other than generic RPGs. It's what they do. |

Personally I liked tactics more than 2. While 2 had a much better story, the turn based combat system never did much for me.
Oh, and Baldur's Gate! 1 had more potential party members(25 as opposed to 15 in 2), but in 2 the characters were more developed; you actually give a crap about what happens to them(Yoshimo...how could you?). Still, amazing story, interesting combat, and the most potential genocide this side of kotor(no matter your alignment you can just run through the "fish people" area slaughtering them all: if you're good you kill them because they're evil, if you're evil you kill them all because they piss you off, if you're neutral you kill them all because its thursday).

And sadly, that's hardly much of an exaggeration.
Best game _ever.
Rivaling Deus Ex in my "book of gaming classics"
BG1 was amazing in so many ways as well, but BG2 trumps it in terms of being more epic feeling, and also more user friendly.
